In the Summer Term in Columba we have 2 topics: Once Upon a Time and Minibeasts

Once Upon a Time is a History based topic and we will be looking again at family members and how we have changed, talking about the past and present, comparing traditional tales with modern stories, we will also be doing a lot of sequencing using time words of before, after, next and last.

Minibeasts is a Science based Topic, We will be learning about the work of Sir David Attenborough, we will learn about life cycles of plants and animals, we will learn able the role of minibeasts, we will look after our bug hotel and will recap on identifying the seasons.

We will have a visit from Zoolab to learn about a variety of different mini beasts.
